Keen Mirror Sword Targets
At Keen Mirror we roll high
quality targets made from brand new tatami omote to ensure a consistent cutting
experience and feedback on your technique. We have a variety of targets
available to meet most sword practitioner’s cutting needs.
We begin with Mugen Dachi new tatami omote. These are high quality mats, which
produce tight, stable, and consistent targets. We roll these mats ourselves in a
clean environment to ensure that no foreign matter finds its way into the
target, which might damage a sword. Each target is rolled to controlled
specifications allowing us to produce targets with a consistent density,
stiffness, and cutting resistance.
The targets are 35 inches long and vary in diameter depending on the number of
mats used and diameter of the center peg hole. We offer the standard options of:
no hole, a 3/4-inch center hole, or a 1-inch center hole. Please be sure to
specify your preference when you place your order. Each target comes standard
with three traditional cord ties. Additional ties are available as a Custom
